Hello from the University of Missouri in St. Louis! This past weekend, Stanton’s was proud to exhibit at the inaugural conference of the Jazz Education Network. Over 1200 educators, musicians and jazz aficianados gathered for a weekend of concerts, clinics and camaraderie. Also, if you noticed the musical world tipping a little this way this weekend, it’s because all of the planet’s greatest jazz musicians were there!
On an unrelated note, St. Louis is known for great food! Our new favorite is Remy’s. Specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, the owner and head chef brings her Irish and Lebanese background to the table in incredible combinations of flavors.
Google the Jazz Education Network and plan to attend the 2nd conference to be held in New Orleans in January 2011.
