Alfred Publishing strings editor and co-author of the new Sound Innovations band and orchestra method, Bob Phillips presented a free workshop on the innovative new book at Stanton’s on Saturday, June 19. Teachers from central Ohio and beyond received an inside look into the details and features of the method including the numerous customization options that will be available. Mr. Phillips not only discussed the new book, but also offered practical, first-hand insight into program recruitment and retention as well as effective approaches to teaching and working with students.
