The Big Book of Ragtime Piano contains sixty-three Ragtime piano pieces, a few of which are also in “Fifty Classic Piano Rags”.   A few rags written by women composers have been included.  “Hoosier Rag” was written by Julia Lee Niebergall,  “Pickles and Peppers“  was written by Adaline Shepherd.  “The Thriller Rag” was written by May Aufderheide Zez Confrey‘s “Kitten on the Keys” is in this collection of Ragtime sheet music.  Some of these pieces are hard to find elsewhere.  This is a great resource for Ragtime piano solos.  Play for your own enjoyment, or play for a party or piano bar.  You can’t go wrong.  Just don’t play Ragtime too fast!  For more information about this collection or other collections of piano sheet music, call us at 1-800-42-MUSIC, email us at keyboard@stantons.com, or visit our website at http://www.stantons.com.
