“The Sing-Off” is Back! Monday, December 09, 2013

sing_offAmerica’s favorite a cappella show is back! Just in time for the holidays, “The Sing-Off” returns as the country’s top a cappella groups head to Hollywood for the singing competition with a sound all its own. Four-time Grammy Award nominee Jewel is joining “The Sing-Off” as a new judge, along with Shawn Stockman and Ben Folds, with host Nick Lachey also set to come back.

Each group will perform show-stopping numbers like you’ve never seen or heard before, with no lip-syncing, backup bands or safety net. They’ll be covering all your favorites from today’s top pop chart, to R&B, rock, country and more. It’s “hit the right notes or go home” in this competition, as the celebrity judges critique the performers and eliminate one group each week. The last group standing will be awarded a cash prize and an Epic Records/Sony Music recording contract. Now that’s something to sing about! (source: nbc.com)
