“The Color Purple” has a revival going on Broadway, and Stanton’s has the vocal selections for it! This collection has eight of the songs from the musical, which opened on Broadway in 2015. The new version is more streamlined than the original, and has received some sparkling reviews. “Push Da Button” is sung by Jennifer Hudson as “Shug,” and it is a showstopper! “Any Little Thing” is a sweet duet between husband and wife.
