Dick Sheridan, who plays all the fretted string instruments, has arranged 50 fiddle tunes for the mandolin in the collection Fiddle Tunes for Mandolin. Although he doesn’t play the fiddle, he has an affection for the instrument and the fiddle tunes, and what better instrument to arrange fiddle tunes for but the mandolin? It is tuned the same, and easily lends itself to playing the same repertoire.

This rich treasury brings together many of the tunes acknowledged to be the best from Ireland, the British Isles, Canada, and from the Cajun, Appalachian and rural region traditions of the United States. This collection includes Audio Access and chord grids for mandolin chords. This collection promises to supply hours of fun, especially with the online audio files included.
