Stanton's OMEA Convention Re-cap Monday, January 19, 2009

p1150005_21Stanton’s Sheet Music would like to thank all of our friends & customers who stopped by our booth at the OMEA convention this past week.  Our booth was extremely busy throughout the three day conference, and we felt very fortunate to be part of such a great event.  Unfortunately, we were unable to fly our Stanton’s balloon over the booth this year due to the strict regulations of the Columbus Convention Center–several of our customers asked about it.  We would also like to thank Michael and Jill Gallina for allowing Stanton’s to be part of their reading sessions. The sessions were absolutely packed, and unfortunately, we ran out of clinic packets each of the four sessions that they had.  We would also like to say thanks to David Adamson and Terry Walburn for their part in p11500033_21helping the exhibtors throughout the weekend.  The Thursday night jazz reading session in the middle of the Hyatt atrium was absolutely fantastic! At least 800 people showed up in the bar lobby to enjoy cocktails and to hear one of the best jazz ensembles put together.  Stanton’s Ben Huntoon was in charge of organizing some of the top name jazz players in the state, and these guys put some muscle behind the music to make the charts sound incredible.  Every one of the Stanton’s employees came back to work today with enthusastic stories to tell about who they meet, who they talked to and how much fun it was to work the convention floor this weekend.  We’ll see you in Cincinnati next year!
