Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Monday, January 31, 2011

They’ve grown up so fast,  Hermione,  Ron  and Harry.  Again they will face grave danger in this penultimate movie, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”   How long do we have to wait for part 2, the last half of the story?   While we wait, we may as well play the music from this latest Harry Potter movie. Â  Alexandre Desplat’s score has been transcribed for piano at 4 different levels: 5-finger, big note, easy and intermediate/advanced.  Newly published by Alfred Publishing,  Stanton’s has ordered books at each level for your pleasure or a student’s pleasure.  The piece “Obliviate” also has been transcribed for single piano sheet on the 4 levels.  There are 10 pieces in this book including “Ron’s Speech”, “Farewell to Dobby”, and “Godric’s Hollow Graveyard”. Â Get your copy before they sell out (or “obliviate”?)!
