“Is this item in stock?” Thursday, March 24, 2011

Stanton's Sheet Music is proud of our extensive website, where you can shop online any time, day or night. You can see additional details on thousands of items, and sometimes even see a preview of the first few pages or hear a listening sample. It's easy to search by title, composer, catalog number or other information if you are looking for a specific piece, and our sub-categories on the home page make it simple to browse if you're looking for, say, new marching band warm-ups (you just click on “Marching Band Music” and then “warm-ups”). However, one of the things you can't see on our website is the availability, or “status,” of a particular item.

Because Stanton's is both an online retailer AND a large “brick and mortar” store, we often have customers ordering on the web and purchasing in the building at the same time. So the very item that you're placing in your online shopping cart may be in someone's ACTUAL shopping cart in our store–or part of an order being placed by phone or by fax. This situation makes it difficult to accurately state an item's status our website.

If you need an item quickly, the best way to place your order is to CALL Stanton's at 1-800-42-MUSIC; we're open 9-5, Monday through Friday, and 9-4 on Saturday (EST). That way, you'll not only be able to find out the availability of anything you need, but we'll also be able to talk with you in detail about various shipping options and costs to get your order to you within your timeline.
