If your students are driving you a little nutty this April Fools’ Day, take advantage of it! Stanton’s can recommend a variety of styles and formats to express your silly side in April:
For choral ensembles, Greg Gilpin’s recent arrangement of “Chain of Fools” is sure to impress in SSAA. The Beatles’ classic “The Fool on the Hill” is a great choice for mixed ensembles; this Mac Huff version has a unique Latin style.
Jazz bands will enjoy “My Foolish Heart” in an arrangement by Dave Rivello featuring a beautiful solo for alto sax.
Don’t leave out the fools in the orchestra; program “La Suerte de los Tontos,” arranged by John Whitney–this fiery number is sure to add to the spring warmth in the air!
