ASTA Convention Recap Thursday, March 26, 2009
Stanton’s would like to thank the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) for a great conference in Atlanta, Georgia from March 18 through March 21. We would also like to thank the publishers who supported us there, supplying music and expertise, including Hal Leonard, Kendor, Carl Fischer, FJH, Alfred, Kjos, Northeastern and especially Latham Music, a Lorenz Company.
We would particularly like to thank the hundreds and hundreds of people who stopped at the Stanton’s booth (often more than once!) to shop for music. Â The Stanton’s booth was swarming with string teachers and students the whole time the convention hall was open, many of whom expressed amazement at seeing so much sheet music all in one place. We have come to realize that there aren’t many stores like Stanton’s Sheet Music around the country that stock as much music as we do in all genres. It was very gratifying to be able to supply all these string musicians with music that was focused on their specialty and to hear the kind comments about our products and service.
We hope to hear from many of you again – we gave out hundreds of business cards and promotional pens so that you can contact us anytime by phone, fax, web or e-mail for any of your future music needs. Thanks again to one and all!
