Jazz Improvisation Workshop Wednesday, May 06, 2009
Essential Elements for Jazz Ensemble author Mike Steinel will be conducting a clinic at Stanton’s Sheet Music on Saturday, May 16, 2009. Mike’s jazz method has become the gold standard for meaningful jazz education throughout the country and he’ll be here in person to show teachers how to use it.
Directed toward all music educators, this clinic will also be great for college music majors. This will be a “hands on” session so bring your ax and work with Mike and a live rhythm section. The $15 registration fee will cover an “in store” lunch where you can share jazz education ideas with Mike and the other participants.
Stanton’s, in cooperation with the Hal Leonard Publishing Company, will offer special pricing on EE Jazz materials including method books, individual charts and Mike’s outstanding Essential Elements Jazz Standards book.
