OSU String Teacher Workshop! Wednesday, June 03, 2009
STRING TEACHERS! If you haven’t already been to the Ohio State University String Teacher Workshop (and even if you have!) you should seriously consider coming to this inspiring event. Running from July 12-18, 2009 this year at The Ohio State University, it contains over 80 sessions for you to attend from which you can glean mountains of information. Visit their website for a complete listing of the sessions.
Stanton’s Sheet Music will be hosting two NEW STRING ORCHESTRA READING SESSIONS showcasing nearly 40 brand new selections at all grade levels. The music will be handpicked by the orchestra staff at Stanton’s as the most educationally valid, most highly programmable and best sounding arrangements of the new string orchestra music for the 2009-2010 school year. If we may “toot our own horn” (“bow our own fiddle?”) many participants say the New Music Reading Sessions are their favorite part of the workshop!
We hope you can join us this summer. For registration and further information on The Ohio State University String Teacher Workshop contact Dr. Robert Gillespie at 614-292-2336. We hope to see you there!
