Alfred’s Premier Piano Course is a well thought out method of study. It uses several books on each level to keep students interested. The first book, level 1A, starts with note and rhythm reading. There is a theory book to accompany the lesson book; it reinforces the note reading and rhythm skills. This course progresses to a level six, introducing interval reading and chords, swing rhythms and syncopation as it progresses. There is a Christmas piano solo book on each level of study, from level 3 through 6, there is a Masterworks collection , and a Pop and Movie Hits on each level. There are plenty of fun things to play!
