This book of forty-eight songs from World War One has been arranged for ukulele by Dick Sheridan. It includes songs about hundred years old, many still appropriate for today; “Avalon”, “You’re a Grand Old Flag“, “Taps”, and more. The sentiments of World War One inspired the writing of over 800 songs during and immediately after the war. Sadly, it was not “The war to end all wars.” Happily, it left a rich musical legacy.
