Elvis-Aloha from Hawaii Tuesday, February 24, 2015
“Aloha from Hawaii” was broadcast live on January 14, 1973. It was the first live satellite concert to be aired with a single performer. There was no charge for admission to the concert. Instead, donations were collected for the Kui Lee Cancer Fund. Kui Lee had written and composed the song “I’ll Remember You“, a song that Elvis was still performing. Twenty-seven songs were performed, and they’re all included. Revisit a classic album!
