Accent on Flex-ABILITY from Alfred Music
Movie Favorites: Solos, Duets & Trios for Winds arr. Bill Galliford
Adaptable and flexible to your unique needs, “Solos, Duets & Trios for Winds” is a versatile series that encourages playing in a variety of combinations. Featuring three written parts for every song, the arrangements are designed so that the top line is the melody (Part 1), the second line (Part 2) creates a duet, and the third line (Part 3) forms a trio. You can play solo parts alone or form small wind ensembles by mixing and matching instrumentation, as well as mixing the parts played. Students will gain the opportunity to learn how to play in a small chamber group setting. The accompanying online media includes fully orchestrated backing tracks, PDF files with piano accompaniments, and TNT 2 software, which features the ability to change the speed of the recordings without changing the pitch. “Solos, Duets & Trios for Winds: Movie Favorites” features 19 of the most familiar and popular movie themes ever.

Accent on Ensembles by John O’Reilly & Mark Williams
“Accent on Ensembles” is an exciting book of duets, trios and quartets for flexible instrumentation that correlates with “Accent on Achievement.” Use these ensembles to develop confidence in young players and as a valuable resource for music during contest season. Since the instrumentation is flexible, any combination of instruments can play together. Available for both Book 1 and Book 2.

Yamaha Band Ensembles by John O’Reilly & John Kinyon
“Yamaha Band Ensembles” provide interesting repertoire selections in an amazingly flexibly format that will meet the needs of your band year after year, regardless of how your group’s instrumentation varies. Each piece can be performed as a solo or ensemble by any combination of same or mixed instruments. Each ensemble also correlates with a specific page in the “Yamaha Band Student.” Available for Book 1, Book 2, and Book 3.

Flex-Ability Series by Victor Lopez
The “Flex-Ability” series is ideal for solos, duets, trios, quartets, or any size ensembles, including woodwinds, brass, strings and percussion. Players of various abilities can play together – levels 1-3, with each line of the score decreasing in difficulty. Available for Flex-Ability Classics, Flex-Ability Pops, and Flex-Ability More Pops.
