Part of the Concordia Children’s Series, this setting by Mason Koertiz of the tune IN DULCI JUBILO is for two-part choir and piano. This piece utilizes an echo effect to provide a simple introduction to two-part singing. The natural dancelike tune is supplemented with a flowing piano accompaniment.

Filled with charm and wonder this anthem of thanksgiving celebrates the bounty of God’s goodness that surrounds us each day. A captivating piano accompaniment brings lush harmonic color and strong melodic support to the memorable melody while an optional handbell part adds an additional layer of sparkle to the piece.

O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings by G.F. Handel/arr. Jeremy J. Bankson, Unison with piano
A unison setting of the well-known chorus from “Messiah” arranged for children’s voices. The arranger simplified some of the melismatic passages and changed the key to G major. Equally effective with adult voices.
