Meet the Stanton’s Team – Austin Swack Tuesday, October 17, 2023
Prior to joining the Stanton’s team, Austin Swack taught middle and high school band for over a decade, most recently at Spring High School in Houston, Texas. Ensembles under his direction have performed at the Midwest Clinic, been recognized with National Mark of Excellence honors, and consistently earned UIL Sweepstakes awards. A native Texan, he holds BM and MM degrees from Texas Tech University.
A versatile arranger, his music has been performed on the marching field and in the concert hall by community, public school, and university ensembles. He is also an experienced clinician and adjudicator. Outside of music, Austin is an avid runner and cyclist, who loves to explore Columbus’ outstanding parks and trails, and can often be found at Nationwide Arena cheering on the Blue Jackets!
