A.E.F. March (American Expeditionary Forces) by Albert Stoessel/arr. Loras John Schissel, Grade 3.5
Written for the American Expeditionary Forces in World War I and dedicated to General John J. Pershing, “A.E.F. March” has a special place in the history of the concert band. This arrangement by Loras John Schissel is a patriotic salute of timeless honor and gratitude.
Galop – Go! by Fred Jewell/arr. Andrew Glover, Grade 3
Here’s the perfect encore or “chaser” for your next concert! “Galop – Go!” by Fred Jewell is very aptly named, and this Andrew Glover arrangement for the “Heritage of the March” series gives your band the opportunity to have accelerated fun! Limited technical challenges allow you to experiment with faster tempos, and present both challenge and fun to your musicians.
The Crosley March by Henry Fillmore/arr. Loras John Schissel, Grade 4
Written for Powell Crosley of the Crosley Radio Corporation, “The Crosley March” arranged by Loras John Schissel resounds with the zest of Fillmore at his best. It’s not easy, but it’s worth any time needed to work it up.
The Ringmaster by Jon Bubbett, Grade 4
Step right into the early circus style with this spirited, fun-loving march. It’s perfect for that ‘fun-loving’ moment at your next concert and will remind you of the frenetic energy of the circus.
Trouping Days by Karl L. King/arr. Gene Milford, Grade 3
“Trouping Days” is a popular “band wagon” march, played fast and loud as the band rode through towns to attract customers. This arrangement by Gene Milford exhibits Karl King’s wonderful gift for melody and is scored for the current concert band from his original edition.
