GREAT MOVIE ADVENTURES for Flex Band Friday, January 29, 2021

Hal Leonard’s innovative Flex-Band series is designed to provide exciting music for bands with incomplete or unbalanced instrumentation. Written using just five parts (plus percussion), these arrangements will work with virtually ANY combination of brass, woodwinds, or even strings!

The Avengers arr. Johnnie Vinson, Grade 3
Composed for the first Avengers movie in 2012, this dramatic theme has returned in all the follow-up films and most notably in the final installment “Avengers: Endgame.” Here is a powerful arrangement scored for flexible instrumentation.

Back to the Future arr. Johnnie Vinson, Grade 2-3
Alan Silvestri’s dramatic theme from the 1985 hit movie became an instant film score classic, and remains popular today. Here is a powerful version for band adapted with flexible scoring options.
