Greta Van Fleet’s second release “From the Fires” shows off a band full of promise, and we look forward to hearing more from them! This collection, published by Hal Leonard, contains all eight songs from the album “From the Fires” in authentic guitar transcriptions with notes and tablature. The transcriptions are for ensembles of two to four guitars. “Flower Power” is a ballad that has that folk-y feel to it, and the band’s cover of Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come” is well done, and it’s sad that the song is as apropos as it was in the 1960’s. If you play guitar, this is a great collection to have and enjoy! Trivia: did you know that the band is named after a real person?
